San Cristóbal Cancer Institute is a new beacon of hope for cancer patients in Ponce and the southern region of Puerto Rico, and we are beyond excited to have helped build this brand from the ground up and to produce such a huge impact locally in only 6 months. This intense campaign combined the heritage and vibrant personality of their original property, the eponymous Hospital San Cristóbal, and the innovation of the cutting edge technology available at the new radiotherapy center.


By combining traditional media (radio, print and more) to target mature patients with cutting edge digital strategy to attract top medical partners in over a dozen neighboring municipalities, we created a powerhouse campaign that had rooted the cancer center well in the minds of our target markets far before the opening date. We produced a wealth of attractive print and digital ads, materials for employees, signage, videos, curated medical content and other dynamic elements to help forge brand recognition. Meanwhile, we crafted strategic press releases and other media pieces to entice local media and to raise awareness among the medical community. Lastly, we used powerful tools from Google and other partners to significantly increase SEO and overall brand visibility. We also helped in the production and marketing of three targeted events, helped our client build strong media relations statewide, and positioned San Cristóbal Cancer Institute as a high-profile property among referring physicians with our novel Online Patient Referral Program. The program provides a streamlined experience for doctors, while still complying with local medical legislation. The technical specs of the site also provide for HIPAA compliance and added web security.
